These case studies include plumbing and heating work in the kitchen and bathroom, minor repairs, redecoration and replastering. These are just a few examples of the wide variety of jobs and projects which we undertake.

Renovation of a Dorset seaside cottage

1. By removing the existing bathroom we will be able to install electric underfloor heating beneath stone tiles, with the client's choice of cast iron bath, pressure balannced shower and matching sanitary ware. The finished bathroom will provide a luxurious feel to this home from home.

2. The ceilings in both bedrooms were found to contain asbestos. Contracting a specilist company we removed the asbestos, replaced the ceilings and carried out replastering.

The staircase to reach the bedrooms had an extremely low head height. Our craftsmen were able to alter the structure to gain extra head room whilst retaining the original timbers.

3. The property benefits from a rear patio with fantastic sea views, it is however very uneven, a particular problem for our client's young family.

By removing the existing covering, levelling and laying new yorkshire stone this brightly light area will become a focal point for the family during the summer months for many years to come.

4. Other works to this cottage include replacing the rotten timber to the the storm porch, redecorating all of the windows and setting the capping stones to the top of the garden wall.

Work at this imposing Victorian stone property has included the complete refurbishment of two bathrooms and toilets.

Refurbishment of a flat for a Dubai based client

This recent refurbishment of a dated Dorchester flat included completely redesigning and replacing the kitchen and bathroom.

The living room chimney breast was opened and an antique cast iron fire surround was installed to make a stunning feature.

Also included was the rewiring, complete decorations, new carpets and floor covering throughout the property.

Decorations and repair to listed flats

Our carpenters and decorators recently completed the external repair and decorations of this listed block of Weymouth flats.

This project included the repair and replacement of timbers to the sash windows, replacing rotten fascia boards and the decoration of 22 windows spread over 4 floors.
